Announcing Qubika
Today we are thrilled to announce Qubika, the result of the merger between December Labs and Moove It, with the support of the US investment fund, Recognize.
Qubika will be headquartered in Austin, Texas, with additional offices in the United States and Latin America. Moove It and December Labs are both known for their flourishing companies and work culture that fosters growth and innovation as they have both received repeated recognition for their work environments and quality of work. Moove It achieved a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of over 80, and both companies have been recognized by the”Great Place to Work” awards, in addition to December Labs’ positioning as the third-best company in Uruguay, and the best among software companies in 2023.
The founders of Qubika expressed their excitement about the merger.

Recognize’s investment in Qubika is the fund’s first one in Latin America. Qubika’s board of directors includes the founding partners of Moove It and December Labs, along with Frank D’Souza and Charles Phillips, making it one of the largest software development companies in the country.
