sinQ Technologies is a mobile health technology firm that facilitates the flow of information between health plans, home-health providers and people receiving care in their homes. The platform performs several different functions; some are regulatory and compliance related, while others are value-added for keeping people healthy in their homes for longer.
The main focus over the first 2 years has been mobile development and taking the app from Pilot to fully functional and finally to PHI (protected-health information) ready. From conception to full development of iOS and Android offering, the team delivered Mobile, Web and Design solutions for sinQ.
They also conceptualized and put in place a voice-over technology - an IVR (interactive voice response) interface that allows people to dial-in and complete all the functions they would otherwise be doing with the App.
Initially, the Lead Project Manager worked with the existing management for 2 weeks to understand all of the needs of the project. The team was then able to complete an initial project build in 2 months that a former Dev team had scoped at 8 months.
5-6 team members collaborated consistently week in and week out on the project. iOS and Android Apps were developed along with a Web Solution; 3 different versions of the products were developed and shipped, and this included continual iteration.
The cofounder was able to test the solutions at a conference and this generated business potential in the order of $600-700K for the company. A true Agile delivery model utilized Trello and Slack for project management along with ZenHub for ticket management. The Project Manager imposes new iterations on a weekly basis.
